Waterlicht Toronto

Billed as a monumental public art display Waterlicht Toronto was an incarnation of Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde. Roosegaarde’s design is meant to show the potential and danger of rising water levels.

A testament to it’s Toronto location which was developed into land and was under water itself less than 150 years ago.

Waterlicht is meant to be a powerful and poetic experience and it’s aim is to change the way we think about our climate change, our water levels and the way they interrelate and could affect our futures.

Waterlicht is currently continuing touring internationally. More information can be found here.
