Lead Engine System — Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0 · 28 August 2026 · Toronto Creatives

These terms govern the Lead Engine System. Paying the setup fee means you accept them. They apply to every Lead Engine client, so the details specific to your engagement — your service area, your start date, and your monthly advertising budget — are recorded in the kickoff summary email we send you, which forms part of these terms.

1. What the Lead Engine System is

A done-with-you paid-acquisition system on Meta, built and run for one active campaign at a time.

Foundations. Before a camera comes out we establish who your buyer is, what your brand sounds like, and how it looks. Delivered through one questionnaire and three working sessions in the first two weeks.

A modular creative library. A half-day shoot each month, built into interchangeable hooks, bodies and calls-to-action that recombine into a large library of distinct ads — up to 150 finished video ads per session, plus the static and carousel creative built from the same material.

A funnel. A landing page written to answer the questions your buyer has before they will give you their number, with the qualifying questions built into the form.

Follow-up. Automated email and SMS so every lead is contacted within minutes, and the ones who aren’t ready today are still in your world in six months. This runs on our client system. There is no separate software bill.

Management. We run the campaign daily: watching what performs, killing what doesn’t, replacing it, and scaling what works.

2. The three-month initial engagement

The initial engagement is three months from your start date. Timings below are targets with a few days of float — we would rather hit the work properly than hit an arbitrary date.

WhenWhat happens
Week 1Kickoff. Ad account, page and tracking set up. Foundation sessions begin.
Week 2Foundations locked. Landing page and follow-up built. Simple image ads go live on a small budget, so you see real leads and real data before we have filmed anything. Scripts approved.
Week 3Shoot 1.
Week 4Launch. The video ad library goes live.
Weeks 4–7Meta’s learning phase. First meaningful read around week 5.
Week 7Shoot 2. Double down on what won, retire what didn’t.
Weeks 7–11Scaling. Budget moves to proven winners. Retargeting once your warm audience justifies it.
Week 11Shoot 3.
Weeks 12–13Full review: what a lead costs, what a customer costs, and what happens next.

3. Fees

Setup fee. Charged in full when you accept these terms. It covers the three-month initial engagement: strategy, three production days, all editing and assembly, the funnel build, the follow-up system, and daily campaign management. It does not change based on how many ads we produce.

Monthly retainer. Begins after the initial engagement and continues month to month. Either side can end it with 30 days’ written notice.

Both amounts, plus applicable taxes, are shown on the payment page before you pay.

4. Your advertising budget

Your advertising budget is separate from our fees. It is your money, on your card, billed directly to you by Meta. It does not pass through us. We never hold, invoice or mark up your ad spend.

Your monthly budget is recorded in your kickoff summary email. It will not be spent evenly within a month, and that is intentional — spending heavily before we know what works is how advertising budgets get wasted. Early on the daily spend is deliberately low. As the data shows which ads earn their place, spend moves up behind the winners. We will not exceed your stated monthly budget in any month.

You keep a card on file with Meta and grant us full access to the ad account.

5. Our guarantee

One qualifying lead per $170 of advertising spend, measured across the first $6,000 delivered, or we work without charge until you have them.

At a $6,000 budget that is 35 qualifying leads. The promise is a rate, so if you increase your budget the guarantee increases with it, and if you reduce it the same applies.

The measure is spend, not the calendar. Budgets that ramp deliberately would be penalised by a calendar clock. The guarantee is measured against advertising actually delivered through the campaign we build.

A qualifying lead is defined, not left to interpretation. Anyone can produce phone numbers, and a phone number is not a buyer. A qualifying lead is a person who:

  1. Came to you through the funnel we build
  2. Is located within the service area recorded in your kickoff summary email
  3. Owns or controls the property in question
  4. Has expressed interest in the service

These questions sit inside the form. Someone who does not meet them does not count — which means we are motivated to bring you buyers rather than volume.

If we miss it, we continue running and improving the campaign at no further cost to you. No retainer is charged and no new invoice is issued until the number is met. At that point you decide whether to continue or stop.

6. What we need from you

The system only works if both sides deliver. From you:

  • One questionnaire and three working sessions in the first two weeks — roughly three hours in total, and the highest-leverage time you will spend in the whole engagement.
  • Half to a full day for each shoot. Founder-led ads outperform everything else by a wide margin, so we would like you on camera. We can work with a representative or an actor instead.
  • Photos or existing material of completed work, which feeds the early image ads and gets you leads sooner.
  • Approvals within two business days on scripts, creative and copy.
  • Speed to lead. How fast you respond to a new lead moves conversion more than anything else in this document. Our system will help you hold it; it cannot answer the phone for you.
  • Access in week 1: your Meta ad account with full access and your card on file, your Facebook page and Instagram, and the domain for the landing page.

If access or approvals are delayed, the schedule and the guarantee measurement move by the same amount.

7. What you own

Everything we build is yours, whether or not you continue past the initial engagement:

  • The finished video ads, statics and carousels
  • Your landing page and funnel
  • Your email and SMS follow-up sequences
  • Your Meta ad account, pixel and the audience data inside it
  • The footage from every production day

If we part ways at the end, you can keep running this yourself. That is deliberate. We would rather earn the renewal than trap you into it.

8. Claims and compliance

Where your advantages are strongest — price, speed, quality, customisation — we will word them with you so they hit hard and sit comfortably inside Meta’s advertising rules. This keeps your account healthy and your ads running.

You are responsible for the accuracy of factual claims about your product, pricing and warranty. We will not run a claim we believe is untrue or that puts your ad account at risk.

9. Scope

The Lead Engine System covers one active campaign at a time on Meta. Google, YouTube, and any other channel are outside these terms and are quoted separately, if and when the data says they are worth it.

10. Ending the engagement

The initial engagement runs three months. After that it is month to month and either side can end it with 30 days’ written notice. The setup fee is not refundable once work has begun, because it pays for production days and build work that are delivered up front. What you own under section 7 is yours either way.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms are versioned. The version in force for your engagement is the one current on the day you paid, and it does not change underneath you. Later versions apply to new engagements.
