To Brighten Up the Distillery District with the Toronto Light Festival

The Toronto Light Festival took place at the Distillery District and filled the unique neighbourhood with countless light installations from weird to wonderful.

The organizers touted the festival as a “Just because” kind of thing – which is ok by us. The positivity of brining light to a dark season is absolutely inspired.

Toronto has since seen a number of light-inspired installations, but so far none as interesting as this one. Maybe it’s the neighbourhood maybe it’s the art, maybe it’s both.
