Indie Band Raising Money for Toronto’s Homeless with the help of A Pretty Music Video Directed by a Computer.

Toronto Indie electro-folk band (and friends of Toronto Creatives), Prairials are raising money for Toronto’s homeless population with the help of their new song “Don’t Know Why” – the duo is are dedicating 100% of the money they bring in from their new single; as well as money brought in by the music video – so, we’re shareing it with eveyone we know!

And the video was directed by a computer.

Well, sort-of – The video itself was made by Toronto Creatives’s own Jesse Read – who also happens to be 50% of the Prairials band (would that be a “Prairial”?).

The process Read used involves setting up automatic animations (stuff that looks cool) with variations that dynamically react in time with the music itself. It’s pretty neat, so check it out here!

“Don’t Know Why” is available on iTunes and Spotify – so give it a listen, it’s a great song for a good cause.
