Heavy Meta is Toronto’s giant metal dragon art-car. Leading a growing trend in the more visible alternative artist movement. Recently the dragon car popped up on Sterling Road for an outdoor art party reminiscent of a baby-sized burning man (minus the burning man). The party was a fundraiser to help get Heavy Meta to the real burning man, and we couldn’t resist hitting it up with the camera to see what we could get. There wasn’t a whole lot of ways to put what we found on Sterling Road into words, so we thought this 60 in the 6ix could just speak for itself.

With the help of some Toronto art-party enthusiasts- self included – the giant metal dragon did indeed make it’s way to the 2019 Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.
