Deadlines are basically the cornerstone to any creative company. So when we get busy, fun video projects like this, that we ideate, and put together for ourselves – tend to take a back burner. As was the case for our coverage of Pro Fusion 2017. This piece was completely unpaid and made for our friends at Vistek out of love for what they do.

Pro Fusion is the largest all-Canadian pro video/photo trade show in the world, presented annually by Vistek. It was held this past November at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The Toronto Creatives team played hooky for the day to check it out and play with some of the newest toys. Some highlights to the show included some seriously cool gear including a hydraulic slider – we’re suckers for cool sliders; an appearance by YouTube celeb(?), Peter Mackinnon; and some decent deals on a bit of new equipment. The Rhino Gear booth was also a notable crowd favourite, with modest line ups of people waiting to get their hands on some cool new ‘buttery footage’ stabilization gear, to paraphrase Mackinnon. All in all it was a great show. Great job Vistek! And sorry about all the late equipment.
